TripLog Privacy Policy

TripLog stores the account information needed to authenticate you and provide trips shared with you. Authentication providers supply a stable identifier and, when available, a verified email address and display name. Provider tokens, passkey private keys, and plaintext session tokens are not stored.

Trip plans and booking evidence are used only to provide TripLog features and are not sold or used for advertising. Access is limited to account holders and people explicitly invited to a trip. You may remove sign-in methods, revoke sessions, or delete your account from the app.

When you choose to look up venue details, TripLog sends your search text, such as a venue name or address, and any location context included in that lookup through its venue service to Google Maps. Google venue details are displayed transiently rather than saved as trip facts; TripLog may retain a Google Place ID linking your saved venue to its Google listing. Your existing booking evidence and manually entered facts remain separate. Google handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy.
